Part 1: The Interview

Part 2: The Photoshoot
After your interview, we'll get our team together for a photoshoot that is designed specifically for you. The photos and interview will either be featured on my site and Facebook page, and/or they will be submitted to Fierce Life Magazine for publication.
The Details
This project showcases the joy and amazement of motherhood beyond simply raising your children. I'm looking to show the side of motherhood that's often overlooked. What makes you amazing? Working a career while raising your kids? Starting a business? Obtaining a fit body after the miracle of birth? Volunteering? Maintaining your household? No matter what it is, we're looking to portray you in a confident, strong, and inspiring manner.

All potential models of this project simply apply to be considered. When you apply, please include your age, how long you've been a mother, and a few words as to why you'd like to be part of this project. If you are selected, you will be required to sign a release giving me permission to use your words and photos as part of this project.

The Details
I'm looking to capture the things in your life that get you excited. This series of photos is all about what makes us feel alive, and what we do that brings us a sense of adventure. The possibilities for this shoot are seemingly endless. Your shoot could be showing off your skills playing a sport, hiking your favorite trail, cooking an amazing meal, dancing to your favorite music, drag racing your car, snowboarding, water skiing....and the list goes on. What gets you excited?

Ethereal Fog

The Details
This project started years ago as a fine art series, but I am now revamping and expanding on it to create portraits, glamour photos, editorial, and a unique kind of boudoir photos with an ethereal or surreal feel to them. Using dry ice to create a dense blanket of fog low to the ground, some creative lighting, and expressive poses we will create some truly unique, sexy, and thought provoking images. The wardrobe is wide open depending on your personal preference and comfort level. The final image may be an accented silhouette, or full lighting as if we're shooting on a cloud.

As I build on this project, I'll be experimenting with any type of model. This project has already generated a lot of interest, so anyone interested in modeling for this project will be charged $100 unless they are bringing something truly unique to the project. Part 1: What the world sees
For the first part of your shoot we'll be capturing the version of yourself that you present to the world. This is the way you believe the world sees you, or the way you hope the world sees you. We'll have you dressed the way you would dress any other day, or at least the way you would dress to portray this version of you.
Part 2: The Real You
This part starts with a little mental exercise to explore the part of you that brings you life at your core. This part of the shoot is deeply personal and rewarding. We'll capture the sincerity and vulnerability of this version of you by writing your "I am" statement directly onto your body and photographing you with nothing but your "I am" statement on you.
The Details
This project is easily the most meaningful for everyone who takes part. It is an exploration of the various levels of our personalities and emotions. The end result is deeply personal and, sometimes, surprising. As we live our busy lives we have a tendency to forget what really brings us life, what makes us happy at our core, the things in life that are most meaningful. Through this shoot we reconnect with all of it by stripping away the layers that our life has wrapped around us...then we celebrate it!
Modeling for this Project
For this project, I'm looking to work with anyone who is willing to share this part of themselves. This project in particular will likely result in the publishing of a coffee table book that showcases the outward self and the deeper self side-by-side with a few sentences describing your experience of this project. As with all my other projects, all models are required to sign a modeling release giving me permission to use the photos we create.
